Prior to race three Mr McKenzie filed an information pursuant to Rule 804(5).  This requests a ruling as to whether MAGIC POWER should be declared a late scratching due to having been administered a substance on race day. 

The Committee immediately referred to the above rule which clearly states that after 12.01 am on a race day no substance shall be administered. 

Accordingly the Committee orders that the horse MAGIC POWER be declared a late scratching.
